Farmhouse + Restoration Hardware Inspired Dining Room // One Room Challenge™ // Week 2

I'm back with week two of the One Room Challenge™ ! Last week I talked about transforming my dining area and showed you pictures of what it looked like during our building process. Super fun right? It seriously was a dream watching our home's foundation poured and then all of the framing put up. We drove by practically every evening to see the progress. Once all of the framing was up, we wrote scripture and declarations in every room on the wood beams. Especially declarations over our children in their rooms. Since God had blessed us with this home, we wanted him to be apart of it even more than He already was. Also, words are powerful so it was important to us to be surrounded by the Word creating an atmosphere of peace and love.

So let's talk about the progress going on in my dining area. My whole vision for this space is simple with my own personality added. I love French Country, Farmhouse, Restoration Hardware, Glam with a bit of boho.

This mood board is just to give you a general idea of what I'm working towards. I don't want it to be so cookie cutter because I know everyone else is doing farmhouse right now. For me, farmhouse vibes just make me happy but I want to add in a little boho and glam.

So far, the shiplap is almost done, the DIY bar car is completed and I have found the perfect table from URBANHOME.com I seriously can't wait to get that baby to my house. This weekend I will be working on finishing painting the shiplap and sanding down my barn door. I found some amazing looking hardware from ROLLINGDOORDESIGNS.COM and I am about to do a little shopping at LAMPSPLUS.COM to find some things for the finishing touches.

I can't wait to see how my little space turns out and I am so glad that you are following along! Check back next week as I give you some sneak peeks!

A big thank you to my sponsors!
