Master Bathroom Refresh + Giveaway

Spring is finally here! Hurray! I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of great weather so that the fresh air and sunshine would be upon us where I live and that would motivate me to clean the house, purge extra junk and organize. It always seems like I acquire more stuff in the winter and my house gets in a disarray. Laundry piles up and when it's gloomy outside I just don't want to do anything!

  

 I've made a pretty long list of things I want to accomplish this year, the last year of my 20's and big time organizing and refreshing is on my list. That is why I happily accepted the challenge from Wayfair for a bathroom refresh! They sent me my choice of bath towels and rug and I couldn't wait to get them in the mail so that I could complete the finishing touches to my very simple, chic bathroom design. Less is more when it comes to the bathroom.

Let's take a look at what I started with. I took everything but the cream curtains out. I wanted to start completely fresh.

I added some wall art, a small ottoman and 2 candle sticks. I REALLY love my brand new shower. It was worth it. Thank you to Daltile for gifting me with that! Complete with dark emperor marble floor and a mosaic back.

Now let's take a look at the bathtub. I added a crystal chandelier over it, added a DIY monogram wall art, built a DIY bath tray which I'll be sharing my tutorial soon, fresh flowers from the garden, my new Home Dynamix bath rug and fresh cream towels.

I've always been a huge fan of white/cream towels but white 3 kids I never thought I'd even dare.Then I got to thinking. What is so relaxing about hotel rooms and spas? All the sheets and towels are white. They are plush and scream relaxation. So, why can't I recreate that for myself at home? The good news is that you can! Get rid of the clutter and add some plush white towels. It made a HUGE difference in the way that my bathroom feels now.
