Happy Tuesday! I'm back with the final, 3 week awaited master bedroom reveal for the New Year, New Room Refresh Challenge! I had so much fun getting together with a group of amazingly creative bloggers to refresh one room in our homes during January. (You can check out their reveals at the end of this post!)
I partnered with RUGSUSA, MINTED, LAMPSPLUS & FRAMEBRIDGE to make my vision board come to life. It wasn't very hard to pull the look together with such gorgeous pieces. So a BIG thank you to them!
So, at the beginning of January, I created my mood board to help set the tone for my refreshing adventure. That is the very first thing, besides choosing a room, to do when you are wanting to change things up a bit in your home. Gather your inspiration, whether it be on Pinterest or another website and create a mood board in PicMonkey. It will bring your vision together and from there, go shopping around the house or at your favorite home stores to select the pieces that are similar to what is on your mood board. It really is as simple as that!
For my inspiration, I chose to go with a beachy farmhouse glam vibe. I am not a HUGE beach decor fan, but I'm a huge aqua lover. I came across some Minted art which I will show you in a minute, and I fell in love with it. So my bedroom was inspired by that. I also am in love with all things farmhouse which I think 90% of people are caught up in the trend too, so I thought why not kinda mix some styles to create my own look. To be honest, I veered just a tad from my mood board but only slightly. I also have some other things to add to the room. A big project that needs to be done and a few other things, like the other side of the room, but that's what living the DIY life is about. Nothing is ever done! I can't wait to show you after I complete those things and I'm still waiting on a few Minted things to arrive so you know I'll be doing another update on this room!
Now, let's take a look at my master bedroom.
I have a tutorial for that bench!
This is the Instagram Mini from FrameBridge with the distressed white frame with matting. You can upload any instagram picture directly from your own IG.Pick out the frame and have it shipped right to you! It's adorable! Find it HERE
I have a tutorial for the easiest way to hang roman shades coming up too!
This art is from Minted from the talented Artist, Lindsey Megahed. You can find it HERE. I ordered mine with the Whitewashed French Farmhouse frame. Swoon.
This is the Manali Diamond Trellis Jute from RugsUSA. You can find it HERE and it's even on sale!
This is the 4 light Oil Rubbed Bronze Chandeilier Ceiling fan kit from LampsPlus. You can find it HERE. You can also find my easy tutorial on how to install in onto your fan too HERE.
I also received a gorgeous milk glass cake plate from Minted. You can see it HERE. I used it as a plant stand. It is so pretty! and heavy.
Overall I'm really happy with how this room is quickly progressing. With just a few changes, I was able to create an entirely new look that makes me so excited to hang out in here. It is refreshing, feel bright and clean and the neautrals with a bit of aqua make my heart sing. This is my happy place.
Keep checking back to get the details on where I found the bedding among other things, tutorials for the roman shades, how I painted the little aqua dresser and my DIY gold fur bench to end this New Year New Room Refresh with a bang! Now I'm off to plan some other projects for this space.
While I do that, don't forget to check out the other participants to get even more eye candy!

Looks cozy and inviting! Love your bedding. Great mix of colors and style. That minted cake stand is beautiful! Great Job!
It looks like a cozy retreat! Love the new touches from the art you picked and the DIY bench turned out great--well done!
So beautiful!! It came together so well. I don't think we will ever feel like a room is completely done, but I am loving how much you have done!! The fan chandy is spectacular and I love the bench. All very cozy.
So lovely, I can definitely see your beach influence, and the subtle blues are such a nice compliment. The fan chandy was kind of inspired, it really brings an extra special touch. I also love the ladder as a blanket holder!
So pretty! Love those frames from Framebridge and Minted. The soft colors and textures are perfect. What a haven to enjoy at the end of the day!
Oh my! That second shot is my absolute FAVORITE! What a beautiful space! I am sure you are enjoying every moment in your "new" room! And yes - yay for spiffed up master bedrooms! We deserve it haha ;) Congrats! -Rachael
