My Home Style : Christmas Tree Edition 2015

Welcome back friends! If you are new to my blog, don't be shy! Today, I'm sharing with you my Home Style: Christmas tree edition  and blog hop hosted by Casa Watkins.

My Home Style is a blog series where bloggers choose three words to describe their homes and show examples with pictures. The three words that I chose are Rustic, Romantic and Glam. As time goes on I knowmy style willchange but for now those are my style words that encompass how my home feels. It also has touches of farmhouse and the more I do projects, the more my little farmhouse glam will come to life.

Have you ever thought about your Christmas tree style? Does it match your home decor and personality? Mine certainly does! I chose wintery whites, burlap, golds and splashes of red. Let's take a look!

Now let's break down my tree! I used... *contains affiliate links*

-A real noble fur tree from a local super market for $39.99. It's our family tradition to go there every year and pick one out.

Burlap Ribbon  from Walmart I used one roll and cut into pieces

Gold & White mesh roll from Michaels. I used one roll and cut into pieces

Gold Star Tree Topper from Target. We use the same one every year. The kids put it on with my husband's help. Another family tradition.

Glittered Snowflakes from Walmart

Holly Berries from Joann's

-Wood Slices ornaments with years on them. Every year my husband cuts off a slice of our tree for me to make into an ornament. I either write or wood burn the year onto it.

-Round Chalkboard ornaments with Love, Joy, Peace on them.

-Feathered owls fromWalmart

Gold glittered reindeer from the dollar tree

White glittered wreath ornaments from the dollar tree.

White snowy tree branch sprigs from Joanns.

Glittered pinecone sprigs, Joanns.

Birds nests from Michael's dollar sections.

Gold glittered leafy garland from Michaels

Gold Glittered crosses from Walmart.

Gold chunky glitter spikey balls fromWalmart

Black & gold glam starbursts from Walmart

Other ornaments from Dollar Tree and Walmart.

Glittered gold birds from Walmart.

See, decorating your tree does not have to be expensive. You can make budget friendly items look expensive with the way that you use them!
