DIY No Sew Junk Hiding Table Cloth Curtain

Ever since we bought this house I was always trying to come up with this weird builder grade hole under the TV. Let me just state that yes, I  didn't hide the wires for the pic. Real life, ain't nobody got time for that. Just kidding, I'm working on it.

I had thought about doing some awesome shelving BUT I have a 15 month old who LOVES to touch, grab and throw everything. I also wanted all the junk to be hidden. This big square hole was driving me nuts!

Do you have a weird space you need to hide? Hopefully this can help you too!

TABLE CLOTHS FOUND AT ROSS, TJMAXX, MARSHALLS & HOMEGOODS ARE SUPER CHEAP FOR A FEW YARDS OF FABRIC ALREADY SEWN!

They are seriously my go to for fabric for any project!

-things you need-
1. shower curtain rod or tension rod. I just grabbed what I already had. A bronze shower curtain rod.
2. 1 rectangle table cloth. mine was 102 inches long. I found this one at Marshalls for 12.99!
3. glue gun
4. scissors
5. tape measure

Fold your table cloth in half.

Measure from the top of your rod to the floor and then cut the tablecloth accordingly. Make sure you add a few inches for the pocket.

**Cut from where you folded over so that the bottom of the curtains are already sewn.

After you cut then flip over a few inches and hot glue gun to make a pocket for the rod to go through.
**Also make sure it is big enough for the ends of the rod to fit.

Let the glue fully cool so it won't come apart then hang them up and you are done!

Took me about 10 minutes to hide my junk!

Problem solved!

that idea will work in any open area because of the tension rod! Genius creation...and from a table cloth!
