I've always made excuses, new years resolutions ect. and have never been happy with my body. Magazines, celebs and models distort our self images. Then we question why we don't look like that and compare ourselves to them, making ourselves unhappy.
Before Arabella (my third baby) I did work out, try to eat right but I only did the minimum. Nothing to push myself consistently.

As soon as I gave birth to Belle, in the hospital, I made the choice to eat super healthy. I'm not calling it a diet. I'm calling it a LIFESTYLE CHANGE.
For the past 3 weeks, I've been eating clean and just started working out with cardio and weight training. Yes I know I'm only 3 weeks post partum. I know my limits and go at my own pace and I feel great! I've already lost all my pregnancy weight with the help of giving birth, breastfeeding, and eating clean.
So WHAT IS EATING CLEAN you ask?
Eating clean is simply the practice of avoiding processed and refined foods and basing your diet on whole foods.
Everything being as close to it's natural form.
I've been eating cooked oats with raw sliced almonds and cinnamon.
grilled lemon chicken breast with roasted red, yellow and green bell peppers & onions.
Cut up apples with organic almond butter
homemade protein shakes
tons of fruits & veggies
spinach salad with balsamic drizzle
Eating clean is NOT boring at all!
There is so many awesome yummy recipes.
I'll be sharing some with you as I learn myself.
And for working out?
Jillian Michaels 30 day shred
(myfitnesspal.com)
This is inspiring! This woman did 30day shred. This isn't a young girl who was already fit. This woman had a baby and sometimes a woman's body can look like this after a baby! This real life and real results!
I'm also doing Insanity!
more on than later!
Keep working towards your goal. Take it one day at a time. One pound at a time because each pound down counts!
