Remember last weekend when I said I was going to try something with my gel mani kit after being dissapointed with the gel strips? Well I tried it! Here is what I did...
Step 1.... regular basecoat
Step 2.... regular nail polish in the color of your choice. Let dry COMPLETELY! I did a few coats and let them completely dry in between
Step 3... After everything is super dry then apply your gel top coat and cure with the LED light.
Instant mirror shine and mine lasted a week without chipping.
I was super rough with mine though! I will definitely try again!
