These choices are often something so simple yet after they are done, you immeadiately think it wasn't right but can't really take it back.
I hadn't made one of these in a while. Until recently. The repercussions of my choice weren't that great. Hurtful. AND let me just say I am NOT one to hurt feelings. I always think "If you don't have anything nice to say... don't say anything at all." I usually would rather hold in feelings and words than cause hurt to another person or start "drama." I'm the type of woman that sometimes gets walked on and will only stand up for myself when it is crucial. It's just me and I am ok with it. Not because I don't value myself, just because I personally like peace. When it comes to me giving constructive critisism , that is also hard for me. I'm not sure why. I guess I'd rather live in peace than to stir chaos. It's something I'm working on.
Because of this said decision, it has opened my eyes to really truly consider what I say. If I don't mean it, why say it? Crazyness is just going to ensue. I'm not a crazy lover, thats for sure.
I am now going to make a bigger effort to think before speaking, which I already did, but even more so now so there aren't hurt feelings again.
Somethings just aren't worth it.
I encourage you to really choose your words and actions wisely. Do what is right. Do what you believe in your heart. Don't say it if you don't mean it. Simple as that because whoever said sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me, flat out lied. Bones can heal, but words can stay with you forever. They create scars and even bigger emotions.
The tongue is the rudder of your ship called life...which direction are you going?
